Taylor Swift’s news on her latest album Midnights took the internet by storm after the singer announced it at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday.
As the 32-year-old singer was accepting her Video of the Year award she dropped a major hint saying: "I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out Oct. 21."
"I will tell you more at midnight," she said before announcing the title of her latest work.
Later on Instagram, she shared the album cover and description of her work.
"We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back," she wrote alongside an image of the album cover.
"We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren’t — right this minute — about to make some fateful life-altering mistake."
The musician elaborated that her new album is a collection "written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face."
