Anne Heche died nine days after crashing her car into a home
Anne Heche has been "peacefully taken off life support", ending her nine-day suffering after she fought for her life with a brain injury caused by a car crash.
A representative for the actress confirmed in a statement adding that the Emmy-winning star’s organs will be donated as per her wishes and that surgeons were prepared to remove and transplant "multiple organs".
Heche had driven her car into a house after it was believed to have sped out of control causing it to burst into flames.
The now concluded investigation stated that the star was under the influence of cocaine when the incident took place.
