Victoria Beckham’s luxury fashion company is said to be facing debts of £53.9million.

She first launched her label in 2008 with a small collection of dresses which grew into a large range that includes handbags, coats, shoes and accessories.

However, The Mirror confirmed that her brand’s label faced uncertainty as a spokeswoman for the former Spice Girls member confirmed the numbers.

A report said: "Total revenues for the Victoria Beckham Holdings group fell 6% to £36.1m (2019 – £38.3m) due to the effects of the global pandemic.

"Victoria Beckham Beauty continues to expand its portfolio with a number of successful product launches in this year with best in class in clean luxury beauty and skincare."

Even in the face of big losses the Beckham’s global empire has doubled profits.

Annual accounts show that the duo made £11.6m in the year ending December 2020 even in the face of the pandemic – compared to £4.5m in 2019.
