Kim Kardashian is reportedly "very sad" to bring her relationship with Pete Davidson to an end but reportedly saw it coming early on.
A source told Page Six that the Skims founder will always care for the King of Staten Island star and "have his back" even though they are no longer together.
Another insider revealed that the former couple expected a breakup on the horizon seeing that the two have a large age gap and are in different stages of their careers.
"Pete knew it wasn't going to work. He'd been saying it for a while - and Kim knew it, too." A third source added the former couple's age difference was another reason for their split, saying they were just "in very different places at the moment".
Furthermore, "distance and schedules" eventually led the pair to part ways.
