Travis Scott announces first concert in UK after Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott is coming to London in August for his first concert following the tragedy at Astroworld Festival

Travis Scott is set to launch his first solo concert following the tragedy in his Astroworld Festival which resulted in the death of 10 concertgoers.

The concert will take place in London’s The O2 arena on August 6, the singer announced on his Instagram.

"Been in the studio for a while time to take it to bigger speaker see u soon London," he captioned the post.

Eight crowd members died in a terrifying crush during the first night of his event at the NRG Park in Houston in November 2021. Two more revelers died from their injuries in hospital in the days after the event, while 300 gig-goers were left injured.

However, this is not going to be his first time on stage after the incident.

The Antidote singer has performed a handful of gigs including, a guest appearance at the Coachella afterparty this year, a pre-Oscars party in Bel-Air, and his performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
