Giselle from aespa landed in hot water after being called out for cultural appropriation.
Performing at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, the members Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning put on a spectacular performance for their fandom.
Besides their stunning performances, the girls also had a fun moment where they recreated the viralJiggle JiggleTikTok dance challenge.
However, as they performed the choreography, Giselle put her own spin to it towards the end when at the line "relax" rather than putting one leg up with their arms behind their head, she opted to pinch her fingers and moved her head left to right.
While she appeared to improvise, she was accused of mocking Desi culture as netizens began throwing shade at her.
Giselle has not yet issued an apology.
