Will Smith spoke about his fitness journey which led to an important self-discovery in teaser of his upcoming YouTube docuseries released on Friday.

In trailer for Will Smith: The Best Shape of My Life, the 53-year-old shared that when he attempted to lose 20 lbs, he realized that he needed to work on his mental health more than his body.

Smith stated in the teaser, "When I started this show, I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life, physically. But, mentally, I was somewhere else. And I ended up discovering a whole lot of hidden things about myself."

In the clip, the I am Legend actor also confessed, “That was the only time in my life that I ever considered suicide” (but he didn’t specify which period of his life he is talking about).

The trailer also shows how hard the fitness journey became for the rapper, as he said, “I don't want to do any of this. I'm finished with The Best Shape of My Life."

The docuseries will be released on 8th November on YouTube.
