BTS announces plans for virtual concert after world tour cancellation

The popular K-pop band, BTS is ruling all over the headlines for their major achievements including winning the Best Group and Best K-pop at MTV Video Music Awards 2021 and setting Guinness World Records.

Makin it more exciting for their fans, the South Korea’s popular septet band is all set for its first virtual concert of the year 2021. BTS has recently unveiled plans for a live-streamed concert after having to cancel their entire world tour due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The Bighit Entertainment recently made the announcement of the same on WeVerse. The concert titled, Permission To Dance on Stage is set to take place on October 24.

The news was also announced on WeVerse and their statement read, “However, due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume performances at the same scale and timeline as previously planned.”

It also went on to read, “Therefore we must announce the cancellation of the BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR.”

“Our sincere apology to all fans who have waited for the BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR to resume. We are working on preparing a viable schedule and performance format that can meet your expectations, and we will provide updated notices as soon as possible.”

BTS has also announced their much-anticipated collaboration with rock band Coldplay. They have collaborated for a single called My Universe.
