Dua Lipa criticized Twitter and Instagram’s after Black England football players were target of racist abuse on the platforms
On Friday, Dua Lipa took to social media and slammed Twitter and Instagram’s response to racist abuse which was faced by Black football players of England after they lost to Italy in Euro 2020.
Lipa wrote, “How come Instagram and Twitter can automatically flag Covid-related news and in the case of Instagram-ban nudity- but can do nothing about the racism that proliferates on their platforms?”
The platforms need to up their game when it comes to tackling racism and shouldn’t allow it in the first place.
