Heidi Klum sheds light on Victoria Secret’s rebranding and overhauling: ‘About Time

Model Heidi Klum opened up on Victoria Secret’s decision of rebranding, and considering an overhaul as some things did need an alteration.

Heidi, 48, is a former Victoria Secret angel who recently gave a piece of modeling advice to her teenage daughter as she ventured into the industry.

In an interaction with The Sunday project, Heidi said, "About time, is all I can say. About time.”

For those unversed, the Sunday Project of the re-launch was announced in June when the brand faced immense backlash due to which they had to cancel their 2019 fashion show.

Klum added, "As a model, you go there, you are happy to have a job. When you are not the company, you do what you are told. But finally, looking at this now, I’m like, about time.’’

Heidi had been the brand ambassador of Victoria Secret from 1999 to 2010.

The rebranding will also consist of the launch of the Victoria Secret’s Global fund for Women’s cancer posing as a "mission of being a champion for all women."

Klum shared cherished memories of modeling with the brand. She recalled, "I was always with Tyra Banks, Gisele Bündchen, Alessandra Ambrósio, Adriana Lima – they’re still friends of mine, we travelled the world and did so many fun things together.”

The company told the post its main focus, "There is a new leadership team at Victoria’s Secret who is fully committed to the continued transformation of the brand with a focus on creating an inclusive environment for our associates, customers and partners to celebrate, uplift and champion all women."
