Pop star Katy Perry, on this Father’s Day, is celebrating the most important dad in her life— her fiance Orlando Bloom, with whom she shared a 9-month-old baby Daisy Dove.
To commemorate Orlando’s first Father’s Day as a girl dad, Katy took to her official IG handle to pay a sweet homage to the new dad and thank him for giving her the “greatest gift” of all her life. She posted a funny video of the two from sometime before Daisy’s arrival into the world.
In the video, The Lord of the Rings alum is sitting in a hospital room in protective gear and is seen playing serene music from speakers on his lap. Katy laughs throughout the video before turning the camera to herself and smiles widely from the hospital bed.
The Firework songstress captioned the video, “happy first Father’s Day to to the healer of my heart and the giver of my greatest gift … I love you WHOLE world.”
Orlando told recently The Graham Norton Show, that he only sings “anything that has ‘daddy’ in it. He explained the rationale behind this and said he does so, "because I want her to say dad before she says anything else.” He also paid a tribute to Katy Perry on Mother’s Day.
Orlando is a father to a 10-year-old, Flynn, whom he shares with former wife Miranda Kerr.
