Queen Elizabeth hosts world leaders during G7 Summit events at Cornwall

Queen Elizabeth II has hosted the annual G7 Summit in Cornwall, where members of the Royal family joined world leaders at a series of events.

The event, which was closed to most media, was attended by royals, world leaders and their spouses at the Cornwall’s Eden Project on Friday.

Along with the Queen, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and Prince William and his wife Kate took part in G-7 events for the first time.

At the summit, the G7 Leaders and CEOs from the world’s largest companies addressed how the private sector can work with governments to better the climate emergency as well to discuss how to “build back better” amid the ongoing global pandemic recovery.

Her Majesty The Queen, 95, also clicked an official photograph, called a “family photo” by organizers, with the other heads of state, including U.K Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The events marked the first time the Queen has met President Joe Biden and his wife First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.
