Tom Cruise does not regret yelling at Mission:Impossible 7 crew: 'I said what I said'

Tom Cruise does not regret his COVID-19 safety rant on the sets of Mission: Impossible 7.

Speaking to the Empire in a recent statement, the 58-yea-old actor said, “I said what I said. There was a lot at stake at that point.”

Although the leaked video showed Cruise in a never-before-seen rage, the actor says he did it to ensure the safety of the whole cast and crew and hence admits that he might have gone emotional during the process.

“All those emotions were going through my mind,” he told Empire. “I was thinking about the people I work with, and my industry. And for the whole crew to know that we’d started rolling on a movie was just a huge relief. It was very emotional, I gotta tell you.”

In December, a clip of Tom Cruise went viral from the sets of Mission: Impossible 7, where the actor was involved in an expletive-filled rant against two crew members who stood close to each other, against the COVID-19 SOPs.

“They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf–kers,” he yells in the leaked audio.

“I don’t ever want to see it again! Ever!,” he continued. “If I see you do it again, you’re f–king gone.”

“And if anyone on this crew does it, that’s it — and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f–king do it again.”
