Beyoncé offers musical tribute to the late 13-year-old internet sensation Lyric Chanel
Pop icon Beyoncé has recently paid a musical tribute to celebrate her fan, the young internet sensation Lyric Chanel, who lost her two-year battle with brain cancer and anaplastic ependymoma on Friday.
As per reported by ABC 13, Beyoncé posted a video on YouTube, which featured pictures and video of 13-year-old Chanel, who was a big Beyoncé fan in her life.
With her pictures and videos, the Crazy In Love singer sang a cappella medley of her hits, including Brown Skin Girl, then leading Halo and concluded with Love on Top.
In the chorus for her hit track Love on Top, she replaces word baby with Lyric to pay a heartfelt tribute. Chanel’s cancer battle was chronicled by her family on her Instagram page. The young star captured the attention of Beyoncé and celebrities as Cardi B.
The sad news of Lyric’s demise was announced by Go Gold for Childhood Cancer account that she had passed away. Last year, Chanel shared photos of herself thanking Beyoncé for sending her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.
