John Mulaney’s has completed two months rehab stay, says source
PageSix reported that John Mulaney has left rehab after completing two months stay but he will continue sobriety work. In December, he went into Rehab after a relapse in cocaine and alcohol.
The 38-year-old has been open about his years-long journey of addiction and struggle with being sober.
The former writer of Saturday Night Live opened up and told Esquire, “I drank for attention. I was really outgoing, and then at 12, I wasn't. I didn't know how to act. And then I was drinking, and I was hilarious again”.
He had added, “But yeah, I was like, 'You're [explicit] out of control.' And I thought to myself, 'I don't like this guy anymore. I'm not rooting for him”.
A source told PEOPLE in December that John “is committed to getting better. He relies on the same small circle of friends he's had for 20 years”.
