Arnie Hammer to leave Jennifer Lopez's 'Shotgun Wedding' after cannibalism scandal

Armie Hammer is stepping away from the film Shotgun Wedding after his leaked messages scandal.

Reportedly, Hammer is into cannibalism and rape. The messages were leaked by an anonymous social media account. The account claimed that a message from Hammer to a woman said that he’s “100 percent a cannibal,” while another gruesome message allegedly talked about “cutting toes.”

Filmmakers have now confirmed that the Jennifer Lopez movie will now cast a replacement for Hammer.

“Given the imminent start date of ‘Shotgun Wedding,’ Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision.”

Hammer on the other hand is furious by all these alleged texts under his name. Talking to Page Six on the scandal, the actor said:

“I’m not responding to these bulls–t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.”

Shotgun Wedding, which is directed by Jason Moore will be released under Ryan Reynold's production banner.
